“Tilo” is an outstanding black 10 year old (2012) 15.2hh KWPN gelding by the legendary Totilas, out of an Indoctro mare. This talented pocket rocket is currently ready to go down centerline at 3rd level, and schools all of the PSG (and more!) at home, and is gaining confidence daily- we have no doubts Tilo will be quite a competitive GP horse for the future.
Tilo has 3 excellent gaits (the walk is absolutely a 10, one of the best we have ever ridden!) and he is a handy, fun, forward thinking (but not hot) ride. Just like his sire, collection is a strength, and his piaffe/passage will be a highlight! Tilo can be ridden in a snaffle or a double, is perfect on trails and loves to hack out, and has extensive experience being ridden by an amateur – he was predominantly ridden by his AA owner, but health issues have unfortunately prompted his sale.
While Tilo does have quite a bit of education, he is NOT a schoolmaster. Tilo is a horse that truly tunes into and follows his rider, and would be best suited for someone who is fair, quiet, effective, and understands an independent seat/hands. The right fit will be of utmost importance for this sweet boy. He has been ridden by a jr/yr, and we think he would be an extremely exciting horse for NAYC!
